Dubai’s transport system works best when the hotel and main activities sit along compatible routes. A cheap room far from your plans can create extra time and taxi costs.
Use the metro for major corridors
The metro is useful for many central districts and can reduce road travel during busy periods.
Use the tram around Marina
Dubai Tram connects key areas in and around Dubai Marina and links with other transport options.
Expect some taxi journeys
Beaches, resorts and attractions outside rail corridors can still require road transport.
Check the walk from the station
Large roads and blocks mean a nearby-looking station may not always be a short or comfortable walk.
